Flower headbands are one of my favorite things to wear in my hair. It adds instant style to your outfit and I find I can wear them for many occasions! You can buy one that is similar, but why buy when you can make a custom one yourself for a fraction of the price?! This one cost about $7.00 and I still had enough flowers left over to make another. This hair style is my go-to when wearing my headbands because I don’t like seeing the band on the back of my head or the way my hair looks flattened around it. Also I have been trying NOT to use heat on my hair all summer so my hair tends to look real “bed-head” around day 3 and this style hides that disaster.. (I only wash my hair every 4 days or so. This may be gross to some, but it’s a lot healthier for your hair, and my hair doesn’t get oily til about day 7. Thats right, I’ve waited that long a few times…) :O
Step 1- With hair down, place headband on head over your hair (not underneath at the nape of the neck).
Step 2- Divide hair into 3 loose sections then fold hair up over the headband and tuck it underneath. Adjust the “roll” to make it more or less ‘neat’. This style is great because you can wear it a bit more messy on more casual days and it still looks like you spent a lot of time on your hair!
